
SCHOOL-AGE / DAY CAMP DIRECTOR
The Clark Memorial YMCA is now accepting applications with resumes for the position of: School-Age /
Day Camp Director.
This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation, and long-term planning for successful growth of
a licensed school-age, Before & After-School childcare program as well as a licensed Summer Day Camp program,
that provides a safe and nurturing environment for children 5-12 years of age.
Points of emphasis include:
• Must be responsible, nurturing and caring as well as detail oriented, & safety conscientious
• Applicants should have at least 5 years experience in childcare and Day Camp programming
• Must be familiar with Department of Early Education and Care regulations and meet all requirements for the position
• Proven ability to work well with children and parents
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required
• Understanding of the Clark Memorial YMCA mission and role as a community-oriented organization

SPORTS & RECREATION INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Objectives:
The Clark Memorial YMCA is seeking individuals who are passionate, and a
committed team player to join us for our fall, winter and spring internships.
This position is for individuals seeking a career in Sports & Recreation, Event
Planning & Management, or Business Management. This is an unpaid internship and must
be completed for college credit.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in administrative work such as phone calls, emailing, etc.
• Maintaining athletic facilities and equipment
• Assist with event and site management during events
• Ability to work at all hours of the week including evenings and weekends
• Work all activities that take place in our athletic facility
• Perform daily duties as assigned by the Sports/Recreation Director
• Assist in sport related activities planning and organization
• Attend meetings that correlate to the Sports/Recreation department
• Assist in Officiating a variety of sports
Qualifications:
• Must be a current college student pursuing a career in this field
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Publisher
• Experience in Adobe Illustrator is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Reliable transportation
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong Ability to adapt on the fly and problem solve
• Must have a flexible schedule, working late nights, weekends and some holidays
• Must be motivated and a team player
