All sports camps run from 1 – 4 pm, Monday – Friday unless otherwise noted.
Sports Camps include: Basic instruction, team building and lots of fun! Swim Time is available at Camp Coordinators discretion. All sports camps are run by qualified, pre screened and experienced coaches. All sports camp staff is selected by the Camp Coordinator. Sports Camps adhere to a 10 to 1 camper to staff ratio.

BASEBALL CAMP
June 30-July 3

This camp is instructed by Coach Jason King, Head Coach of the Franklin Pierce College Baseball Team. This camp will focus on the fundamentals of the game while offering a variety of fun and competitive games. Ages 5 – 14

CHEERLEADING CAMP
July 7-11
Members: $45.00 / Non-Members: $60.00

Lisa Paulitsky, MIAA certified coach with eleven years of experience will direct this camp. Camp will concentrate on a variety of dance and cheer material, gymnastic jumps, pyramids and chants while building the fundamentals in a positive way. For ages 5 – 14

GOLF CLINIC
July 15, 22, 29 & August 5 (Make up day: August 12)

The Head Golf Professional of the Winchendon School Golf Club is heading a golf program. Tom Borden has been the Head Pro at Winchendon for over nine years and has been doing very successful private lessons for adults and children in that time period. For four straight Tuesday mornings Tom will be giving hour long lessons to a maximum of 10 people. He will work on basic swing techniques, strong golf stance and plenty of other tips to make golf an enjoyable experience. Parents/caregivers are responsible for providing transportation to and from the Golf Course.

BASKETBALL CAMP
July 21-25

Aaron Laliberte, Boy Varsity Coach at Murdock Middle High School will be instructing this years Camp. Aaron has over 8 years coaching experience at Murdock. Our Basketball Camp is geared to players who are interested in learning all aspects of the game as well as improving their skills. Both offensive and defensive strategies will be taught. Participants will learn shooting techniques as well as rebounding and dribbling.

TENNIS CAMP
July 28-31 (8:30 am - noon)
Members: $37.00 / Non-Members: $49.00

Jim Abare, Head Varsity Coach at Gardner High School will instruct this camp. Jim has over 20 years of tennis experience. The camp will take place on the two pristine outdoor tennis courts at the Clark Memorial YMCA. Basic fundamentals, foot work, proper grips and much more will be taught. Fun games and great instruction will make this camp a hit! Enrollment is limited.

DANCE CAMP
July 28-August 1
Members: $45.00 / Non-Members: $60.00

Camp will be taught by Winchendon's JoAnn East Dance Education Center's faculty. Come join in the fun for ages 5 and up, beginners and experienced dancers welcomed. Jazz, ballet and hip-hop will be included. If you have dance shoes please bring them, if not a pair of tennis shoes will do just great!

PRESCHOOL DANCE CAMP
July 29-August 1 (2-2:30 pm only!)

Preschool Dance Camp is for children ages 2.5 – 4 years

ART CAMP
August 4-8

Back by popular demand, this camp gives campers ages 6-12 the oppotunity to learn the basics of painting, while creating a mural that will hang in the hall at the Clark. Murals from previous years can be seen in the downstairs hallway at the Clark Memorial YMCA. JoAnna Draugsvold will be instructing this camp. Ms. Draugsvold owns and operates her own art studio in Winchendon where she teaches children, teens and adults how to draw, paint, sculpt and more.

FIELD HOCKEY CAMP
August 4-8
Members: $45.00 / Non-Members: $60.00

Field Hockey will cover the basic fundamentals to the game. Legendary Coach Kathy Murphy, who has numerous years of experience in Field Hockey, will cover stick handling, ball handling and basic plays. Coach Murphy led the Murdock Blue Devils to Conference and District titles over her tenure as Head Varsity Coach. Campers will learn to be part of a team as well as become a stronger player themselves.

SOCCER CAMP
August 11-15

Ritchie Lunn will be returning to the Clark this year to instruct the Soccer Camp. He is the Varsity Girls Coach at Naragansett Regional High School and has over 12 years of coaching experience. This camp will focus on individual techniques of the game, as well as individual moves offering a variety of fun and competitive games. Ages 5 – 12
