New! FULL-DAY MULTI-SPORTS CAMPS

June 21 - 25 & June 28 - July 2 from 9 am - 4 pm (ages 6-12)
Enjoy a variety of sports duing this week long sampler camp with Clark Memorial YMCA Rec Sports Director,
Dwayne Pelkey. Activities will range from favorites such as: basketball, flag football, soccer, ultimate frisbee,
kickball and more! There will be instruction, practice time and games for each sport. Campers will need to bring
a lunch and will also have the opportunity to swim every afternoon.
New! BASKETBALL CAMP (GIRLS ONLY)
July 12 - 16 from 9 am - noon (ages 5-12)
Dwayne Pelkey will be leading the Girls Basketball Camp. This camp is for girls of all skill levels and will
concentrate on skills and drills, while teaching new and returning players the fundamentals of shooting,
dribbling, rebounding, footwork and defense. A variety of drills will be utilized to make this camp fun and
informative.
BASKETBALL CAMP
July 12 - 16 (ages 5-12)
Aaron Laliberte, Boy Varsity Coach at Murdock Middle High School will be instructing this years co-ed Basketball
Camp. Aaron has over 9 years coaching experience at Murdock. Our Basketball Camp is geared to
players who are interested in learning all aspects of the game as well as improving their skills. Both offensive
and defensive strategies will be taught. Participants will learn shooting techniques as well as rebounding and
dribbling.
GOLF CLINIC
July 13, 20, 27 & AUG 3 from 9 - 10 am at Winchendon School Golf Course (ages 6-12)
The Head Golf Professional of the Winchendon School Golf Club is heading a golf program. Tom Borden
has been the Head Pro at Winchendon for over nine years and has been doing very successful private lessons
for adults and children in that time period. For four straight Tuesday mornings Tom will be giving hour long
lessons to a maximum of 10 people. He will work on basic swing techniques, strong golf stance and plenty of
other tips to make golf an enjoyable experience. Parents/caregivers are responsible for providing transportation
to and from the Golf Course.
BASEBALL CAMP
July 19 - July 23 (ages 5-14)
This camp is instructed by Coach Jason King, Head Coach of the Franklin Pierce College Baseball Team. This
camp will focus on the fundamentals of the game while offering a variety of fun and competitive games.
CHEERLEADING CAMP
July 19 - 23 (ages 5-14)
Lisa Paulitsky, MIAA certified coach with twelve years of experience will direct this camp. Camp will concentrate
on a variety of dance and cheer material, gymnastic jumps, pyramids and chants while building the fundamentals
in a positive way.
DANCE CAMP
July 26 - 30 (ages 5-14)
PRESCHOOL DANCE CAMP
July 27 - 30 from 2 - 2:30 pm (ages 2.5-4)
Camp will be taught by Winchendon’s JoAnn East Dance Education Center’s faculty. Beginners and experienced
dancers welcomed. Jazz, ballet and hip-hop will be included. If you have dance shoes please bring them,
if not a pair of tennis shoes will do just great!
TENNIS CAMP
July 26 - 30 from 8:30 am - noon (ages 5-14) LIMITED ENROLLMENT
Cindie Laliberte will be joining us for the second year in a row to coach the Tennis Camp. The camp will take
place on the two pristine outdoor tennis courts at the Clark Memorial YMCA. Basic fundamentals, foot work,
proper grips and much more will be taught. Fun games and great instruction will make this camp a hit!
SOCCER CAMP
August 2 - 6 (ages 5-12)
Ritchie Lunn will be returning to the Clark this year to instruct the Soccer Camp. He is the Varsity Girls Coach
at Naragansett Regional High School and has over 13 years of coaching experience. This camp will focus on
individual techniques of the game, as well as individual moves offering a variety of fun and competitive games.
