Come learn Art with us at the Y!

This session is featuring the famous artist Vincent Van Gogh. The children will study some famous works of Van Gogh, such as Starry Night, Sunflowers and The Yellow House, just to name a few. During this session the children will create many projects such as a diorama, sketches, and paintings using various forms of medium, such as paint, pastels, collage, etc. As the children create their own masterpieces, they will study Van Gogh's technique and form of art, particularly focusing on his brush stroke as well as his presentation.

Fridays, 4-5 pm

This art class is being taught by Amy Fetzner, who is a resident of Winchendon. Amy has been a volunteer here at the Y for almost 2 years. She has a Bachelors Degree in Art, with a concentration in Graphic Design. Before being a stay at home mom of 3, she was an elementary school art teacher for 5 years teaching grades k-8
