The Charles E. Grout Memorial Golf Tournament took place on Saturday, July 21. Eighty players participated in this year's tournament.

The results were as follows:

1st Place — The Couture Team (Skip, David, Henry & Alan Couture) won with a score of 14 under par, garnering bragging rights and names etched in the trophy, along with the first place prize money and 3-month family memberships to the Clark Memorial YMCA.

2nd place — The Simoneau Team (Scott Simoneau, Rick Simoneau, Richard Simoneau, and Tom Carrier) came in second with 10 under.

3rd place — The "Hockey League" team consisting of John Emery (also the winner of the putting contest), Keith Dionne, Marc LeBlanc, and Chris Flagg.

Closest to the Pin Winner (hole 18) — Armand Dube

Longest Drive (hole 17) — Men's Winner: Skip Couture; Women's Winner: Dr. Coral Grout

Oldest Team Entered — Team Buso, who received four 30-minute massages compliments of Morning Glory Massage Therapy.

Largest Number of Family Members — The Connor family, who received a Pool Party at the Clark Memorial YMCA.

Tom Connor led a team to the highest gross score, earning the team a free round of golf in order to practice for next year's event. Jim Hunt's team, "Winners," apparently couldn't overcome Jim's golf deficiencies in order to score well enough to place, while Veronika Patty showed that she was more than "just about the outfit" by sinking a key put on hole 13 for birdie.
